I said good bye to Bangalore today. While sitting in the bus to Mysore, some faces suddenly flashed in my mind. An auto driver who took me to brigade road, who smoked throughout, seven or eight year old kid who was washing vessels in a tea shop singing a Kannada song extremely well, a butcher who was chasing out rats from his shop, the key maker who made me wait for two good hours. The worst part was to see a kid who came with a bike after me, got preference just because he was a cop’s son. A waiter in the bar who asked the price of my friend’s cell phone instead of asking us what we want. India is adjusting. Starting from innerwear we buy, to great Indian political circus. Is it too late to speak up?
